Worlds Fastest Car – New Record By BYD U9 Xtreme

YANGWANG BYD, a Chinese car company has built a new car which claimed to break the world’s fastest record. This is BYD U9 Xtreme. Theoretically the company claimed that this car can make a new fastest world record. This is an EV car. BYD also has other models including SUVs, sedans and EVs. Due to unavailability of track the world record was late.

But at last on 14 September, BYD U9 Xtreme set to break world’s fastest record. It happened in Automotive Testing Papen burg test track in Germany and the car hit 496 km/h. The speed was as exact as per their theory. And with this, The fastest car on planet is now BYD U9 Xtreme.

The Driver

The driver who showered his expertise to make a new world record was Marc Basseng. HE is a German track expert with a huge experience in sports car racing and endurance motorsport. He said:
This record was only possible because the U9 Xtreme simply has incredible performance. Technically, something like this is not possible with a combustion engine. Thanks to the electric motor, the car is quiet, there are no load changes and that allows me to focus even more on the track.
