Overview
The Sindh Government has launched Pink E-Bike Scheme for women workers. The program is set through Workers Welfare Board Sindh (WWBS). For this 10,000 Pink Electric Motorcycles are specified to distribute. Backed by Labour Minister Shahid Thaheem and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the scheme reserves 20% of bikes for minority women and uses a digital lottery system for fair selection.
The motorcycles will be procured through competitive bidding by the Sindh Mass Transit Authority. It will ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. The registration already open since August 2025 following the provincial cabinet’s approval earlier in February 2025.

Requirements
- Must be a female industrial worker.
- Age limit: 20 to 45 years
- Must be registered with EOBI (Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution) or SESSI (Sindh Employees Social Security Institution)
- Apply through the official Workers Welfare Board Sindh (WWBS) portal.
- If selected, must obtain a valid motorcycle driving license within 60 days.
- Beneficiaries are not allowed to sell or transfer the bike for 7 years.
