Local car prices in Pakistan are about to increase by Rs. 600,000 . If you are looking to buy a small hatchback or a family SUV, you’ll likely have to pay more soon. Big companies like Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, Kia, and Hyundai plan to increase prices starting from July 2025 .
This price increase is happening because the value of Rupee is weak, production costs are higher and new taxes make importing parts more expensive. As a result, many people might switch to used cars but those prices will probably rise too.

Reason Of Local Cars Price Increase
Rupee Depreciation: The Pakistani Rupee is losing value against the Dollar, making imported car parts and materials more expensive.
Higher Production Costs: Raw material prices (like steel) and global shipping costs have increased, raising the cost to build cars.
New Taxes & Duties: The government has added or increased taxes and duties on imported parts and CKD kits, which local companies pass on to buyers.
