​Hyundai Nishat Motors has officially launched the Hyundai Elantra Hybrid in Pakistan. It made a significant milestone as the country’s first locally assembled hybrid sedan. The unveiling took place at the Pakistan Auto Parts Show 2024, held at the Expo Centre in Karachi on October 25, 2024.

The Elantra Hybrid is assembled at Hyundai Nishat’s Faisalabad plant, a facility that commenced operations in 2019. This plant is a joint venture between Hyundai Motor Company and Pakistan’s Nishat Group, with key stakeholders including Sojitz Corporation, Millat Tractors, Adamjee Insurance, DG Cement, Nishat Mills, and Security General Insurance.
