Overview
On 16 February, 2026, the Government of Pakistan announced an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol and diesel prices are updated and observed every fortnight. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority OGRA recommended the hike in fuel prices. The increase in prices is based upon the international crude oil prices and the rupee-dollar exchange rate. As a result, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased immediately.
