The Government of Punjab has announced a plan to set up 2000 EV Charging Stations across the Punjab. This move is part of a broader initiative to transition the public transport system towards clean, green, and sustainable mobility.
This massive infrastructure development aligns with the government’s long-term strategy to support the rollout of electric buses under the Green Punjab Transport Vision. The plan includes introducing thousands of electric buses across major cities such as Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, and Gujranwala.

Why EV Charging Stations needed?
